A book is a physical object in a world of physical objects. It is a set of dead symbols. And then the right reader comes along, and the words—or rather the poetry behind the words, for the words themselves are mere symbols—spring to life, and we have a resurrection of the word.

It&#39;s just really, really beautiful. Each scene is one long 15 minute take without cutting. My scene is with Robin Wright-Penn so I&#39;m pretty excited about that.

I think I&#39;m a better actress for having friends and interests outside the theatre. I wouldn&#39;t want to live my life surrounded by other actors all the time.
