Ruby inherited the Perl philosophy of having more than one way to do the same thing. I inherited that philosophy from Larry Wall, who is my hero actually. I want to make Ruby users free. I want to give them the freedom to choose.

That's the sacred intent of life, of God--to move us continuously toward growth, toward recovering all that is lost and orphaned within us and restoring the divine image imprinted on our soul.

I own that I am not a friend to a very energetic government. It is always oppressive.

If what you know and what you love are the same thing, that&#39;s great. But if not, write what you love. I love history, secrets, conspiracies, action, adventure, international settings.
