My buddies and I wrote letters to hundreds of pofessional players, asking for autographed photos. Occasionally one responded, and to get a photo in th email was a reason to strut.

He had to keep thinking of them because if he forgot them and did not think of them they might forget about him. And he had to keep hoping.

You weren't thinking and you weren't paying attention either. People who don't pay attention often get stuck in the Doldrums.

In every truth, the beneficiaries of a system cannot be expected to destroy it.
