That's how people live in the real world: forcing stuff on each other.

They verbally attacked each other with Mao's quotations, making cynical use of his guru-like elusiveness--it was easy to select a quotation of Mao's to suit any situation, or even both sides of the same argument.

Remember that everybody's paths are different- focus on yours, not theirs..
Are they going to be responsible for your future? 
                               No!

Never had I ever felt that certain things and thoughts are toxic to the extent that they ruin one's peace and are super costly to keep.
