These people have will and desire too. But in *this* world a hundred codes and schools tell them not to *exercise* it -- to *restrain* desire, until desire turns into poison. And then to tell their children that *poison* is wholesome food.

once people realize that we were all created with great potential. maybe then we can promote more peace and harmony without so much differential.

The plot, then, is the first principle, and, as it were, the soul of a tragedy; Character holds the second place.
