You don't owe anything to anyone, but you do owe yourself everything

When I was very young I was the ugly duckling. I had a lot of complexes. My sister was wonderful and I was nothing.

...They said I looked like a foreign devil; they said I spoke like a foreign devil. I made mistakes in manners, and I didn't know delicacies that had grown up since my father left. They wouldn't have me. You can believe it or not - I'm less foreign here than I was in China.

We must think and act like a nation of a billion people and not like that of a million people. Dream, dream, dream!
